  • A manifesto for education: The point of Education in Times of Unrest

    Mälardalens universitet, campus Eskilstuna, Hamngatan 15, sal A1-068 In 2010, Gert Biesta and Carl Anders Säfström, started a conversation about education in the MDU-cafeteria. This conversation would lead to the publication of “A Manifesto for Education” in Policy Futures in Education the following year. It was
    a critical and creative text that encouraged the reader to think "educationally about education". Translated into several languages it is continuously cited in diverse publications and remains relevant for both academics and practitioners.
